Absolutely everything ok

Motorhome parking space was great, food was also very good, but the child-friendliness left a lot to be desired. Our daughter was really happy when it was finally 5 p.m., she wanted to register us and reserve a table. Since she was hit a bit, we should just come over to eat and then fill out the slip for the parking space. I think some are not even aware of what they are doing to a child! Even if she is still small, she does not easily package things like that. Sorry, but she can write and knows the license plate number, address and phone number by heart, even if she is only 8! But neither age nor height says anything, because she is already in 5th grade. Such behavior is just plain outrageous. She was even afraid to go ahead and order something to drink, like she always does. She was then allowed to fill out the slip in our presence, why does an adult have to do that?

We were there at 5.15pm and paid for our parking space. We immediately asked for a seat / table and were assigned. So far great. But it was cool and musty. The waitress noticed that too and ventilated. So it got cold quickly. The food can be quick and was appropriate for a village pub.

Food very good. A super nicely developed barn. The waitresses were very friendly, the food was prepared quickly and freshly. I can recommend the location. What I can't understand is the price of 2.50 for a second / extra place setting. Whether two people share a meal (actually so common with our children) or not, or whether one person eats nothing ... I only know from Italy, but not from Germany, to take money for an extra plate and cutlery. It is understandable that this is unattractive for a restaurant, but unfortunately in this business it is not always the guests who order the high-priced dishes and then leave half of it, which is not sustainable at all. There are price-conscious guests who like to eat a meal together when they're hungry. Are they so unpopular that you have to collect a flat fee for the cover? Because I don't like that, I have to subtract one star.

For years we have always enjoyed going to the restaurant and on the pitch, yesterday we ordered several drinks and, for once, shared a sausage salad, otherwise we both always ordered a complete dish. But we weren't very hungry that evening and out of decency we ordered this sausage salad for two. We got a second cutlery, which was charged on the bill with 2.50 euros. When we asked, the waitress told us that the boss had instructed us to do so, Herr Pflegehaar sen. gave us the money back immediately. The so-called boss (daughter-in-law) caused Mr Pflegehaar to ban us from parking spaces and restaurants the next day. It's a shame for the good old distillery and the customers who have so far loved to come.

The food is very good, the portions also fit, the service works, but the waiting time is not acceptable. We had to wait 40 minutes for our meal with 2 children, 5 and 1. When we asked, we were not comforted in a really friendly way. The kitchen and the service seem to be a bit overwhelmed.

Great restaurant with good food, great schnapps and delicious wheat beer at fair prices. The service is outstanding and always on the ball. I can only recommend it!

Delicious! We had burner pans and veggie burgers. Short waiting time. Friendly service. Nice terrace with a sturdy awning that can withstand heavy rain 😂

We went there twice on vacation, it was delicious. But needs a reservation. Ampiente very nice. Gladly again.

Yesterday dinner there. Pleasant ambience, cheerful and friendly service. Rich menu, also regional cuisine. An individual menu is also possible, which felt like very pleasant. That, I think Zeppelin beer can be enjoyed🙂. The prices are reasonable and moderate. Overall, the tavern is recommended. We will be back.

We stayed here and loved it. There is no toilet available during the day (evenings only) and it is only for campervans but has a friendly atmosphere and is well located (30 min walk) for access to Meersburg and ferries to other Bodensea locations.

A place you need to visit. Great atmosphere, very good food, good service.
